Orders must be placed at least Seven (7) days IN ADVANCE.

We are a small, boutique catering company that believes in sustainability. We order from local vendors based on what you order from us—no more, no less. Please be mindful of the order deadline as it will be strictly enforced! (Please Note: Our Thanksgiving and Christmas menus have different order deadlines, which are posted to our Website and Instagram account closer to the holidays).

MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENT.

Nell’s has a minimum order requirement of $350.00 for delivery/pickup items, and a minimum order requirement of $1,500.00 for full service catering events. All prices for delivery/pick-up orders do not include service charges.

PAYMENT.

Your order is not confirmed until we receive payment. Payment can be made via credit card (subject to no more than 5% credit card processing fee), cash, check, or Venmo (@nellscateringco). For all orders, a 50% deposit is required at the time you place your order to confirm the event. The remaining balance must be paid at least seven (7) days in advance of your event. All catering items are now DROP-OFF/PICK-UP. Unless stated otherwise, all items will be packaged and displayed in disposable, biodegradable custom wooden crates outfitted with Nell’s custom butcher paper. Oven-ready items, such as items in the Prepared Meals section, will be displayed in foil steam pans. Dips and Spreads come in reusable plastic containers. For an additional charge of $25 per item, your item(s) can be displayed on ceramic serving-ware; however, the serving ware must be washed and returned to Nell’s within two (2) days of your event or you will be charged a non-refundable fee.

DON’T WORRY—WE STILL DO FULL-SERVICE CATERING.

Although Nell’s is transitioning into more affordable and easy catering, Nell’s will still offer full-service catering, complete with ceramic display-ware, chaffing dishes, servers, and/or bartenders. For all full-service catering events, there will be a minimum order amount of $1,500.00. Servers and bartenders have a 4-hour minimum. Unless otherwise noted, SMALL= feeds 1-3, and up to 4 with multiple items; REGULAR=feeds 4-6, and up to 8 with multiple items; LARGE=feeds 8-12, and up to 16 with multiple items.

BEVERAGES.

Nell’s does not currently offer alcoholic beverages for sale or consumption. We can, however, provide a licensed bartender, ice, and cooler set-ups, upon request. We can also coordinate with local vendors to provide wine, beer, and liquor.

THE MENU.

Nell’s sources from local farmers and vendors as much as possible, such as Bellegarde Bakery®, Southern City Farms®, and Hola Nola®, to name a few. All recipes are either original recipes that we created or family recipes that were passed down to us. Our goal is to make your life easier. Over the years, we have had more and more requests for casual, easy to-go items. This is also our attempt to not only fulfill a lot of your last minute needs, but also to fulfill those needs in style by using modern disposable display-ware, clean butcher paper, and lots of beautiful edible flowers for garnish.
